Stop 49: Quantrill Returns to Missouri
Quantrill’s guerrilla band crossed back into Missouri near the same point where they had entered into Kansas. After crossing into Missouri, Quantrill ordered his men to disperse and take to the brush to avoid the Federal pursuit.
